Anatomy[]
A large, green-scaled creature that looks a bit like a cross between a crocodile, a hippo and a dragon. Brown eyes. Spines on the dorsal side of the body. Sharp claws and large, sharp teeth. Tongue dark green, long, sticky, pliable, a bit like a frog, resembling a creeper.

They are very strong and durable. Despite their great weight and size, they can swim quite quickly. They can spit poisonous, thick, sticky sludge at short distances. Their tongues are very flexible, and they can extend great distances so that Thelmesaurus can lash the opponent's tongue like a whip. They can also photosynthesize. They are resistant to many poisons.
Weaknesses[]
It is quite slow (which is why it prefers to use slime and tongue when fighting far-away enemies), especially on land, and since it is a Plant and Water type, his scales do not provide him with much protection against fire.
Food[]
It is a mixotroph, so it can acquire food both for self-nourishing (photosynthesis) organisms and for hypernutrition. In the latter case, these are mainly aquatic and coastal plants. Sometimes, however, it can hunt insects using its tongue.

- The name comes from the Greek words τέλμα (transcription: télma), meaning "swamp", and σαύρα (transcription: saúra), meaning "lizard".
- Even its heat-treated meat smells like, um ... a hundred miners who have worked 12 hours in a row in winter coats at 60 degrees Celsius, but the taste is nevertheless respected. Besides, it is widely regarded as very filling and nutritious.
